As an experiment I'm posting this iPad picture from the spot where I took it. This boat is moored where it shouldn't be, just in front of a swing-bridge, to the consternation of three boats wanting to get through. They managed it, though.

Will add normal details after I'm home. (Edit: now added; album link to follow when ready  - L. 2125 hr)

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Grateful Dead - Looks Like Rain (Recorded live, Pershing Municipal Auditorium, Lincoln NE, 26 February 973)
The cover disc on the issue of Uncut that went on sale today, Ramble On Rose, is, according to Uncut, "a unique take on the Grateful Dead‘s legendary lost album, the end of a trilogy that began with Workingman’s Dead and American Beauty. On the free CD, then, are 10 select cuts from the Dead’s prime, many from classic concert releases," including this one.
These were songs written by the band and their lyricists and performed in the three years of touring they undertook before their next studio album after American Beauty. Many of the songs were never released other than in live performances, some turned up on albums by individual members such as Jerry Garcia or Bob Weir.
This version of Looks Like Rain was first released on Dick's Picks Vol. 28 and a studio version was on Bob Weir's 1972 album Ace, on which he was backed by the other members of the Grateful Dead.
