Dog Diptych

H has been laughing at the red dog with the “nose job” for 2 days since I tried to cement the nose back on yesterday.  So I’m blipping it for him.  We used to have an Irish setter and this brings us pleasant memories.  The kids think it’s “Clifford”.    I’ll take the tape off tomorrow ..crossing my fingers and toes that it works.  (then a little red paint and he’ll be fine. :-)

Below are the “dogs of the sea”  our resident harbor seals on the rocks in our bay.  We hear he babies a lot at night - they kinda do sound like whining pups, the older ones bark like a dog …so I think this one is exhausted and needs to sleep but the tide almost covered his head.   I thought it was a funny photo.  We have 2 sets here all the time now…the other ones were sound asleep too this afternoon.


And now it’s time for another season of Last Tango in Halifax.  I think perhaps to fully appreciate it one needs to be 75 with children in their late 40s . :-)
