Open wide!

On my last full day in St Lucia I was lucky enough to take another wonderful sunrise cruise on the Estuary with Shakabarker Tours along with a very dear friend of mine.

Obviously this slow yawning hippo has become my Blip face although I promise that my teeth are in considerably better condition! As the extra shots show there was an early mist over the water which gradually burned off to leave another glorious, clear blue sky.

The big bird in the extras is a Goliath heron which truly lives up to its name. Although it can look a little ungainly trying to get airborne, once it's aloft it glides with surprising grace.
