To Liverpool today, to see a load of Jackson Pollocks at the Tate. As always, the views around the Albert Dock and across the Mersey were spectacular.

Of course, inside the gallery, no photography was allowed. However. it was permitted inside the cafe, where we consumed some wonderful cupcakes inspired by the artist.

You will have heard that England beat Australia today, in no small part due to my efforts cheering them on yesterday.
