Hitching a lift...

At last we had a day of warm and sunny weather, and managed to get all the remaining survey work done by starting early (though it was rather chilly first thing) and staying late. Part of our work involves being escorted across the rail lines to monitor two bunds. Today, instead of being walked back, we were given a ride on this shunting engine. I've wanted to have a go in one ever since I started working at Whitemoor, so today my dream came true. Such fun and such friendly engine drivers!
