The Love Bomb

Bailey and her mum came and picked up Archie this morning. We'd told him (just before they arrived) that he'd be doing something exciting, and he was going crazy! Running to the door, then the window, crying. He even tried to jump into the car boot where Bailey was. Normally he has to be lifted in, he's not at all keen.

They went up the Pentlands and walked for miles. We're so grateful that he gets to go out on these proper big walks with a fit person!

We had a jaunt out to Jupiter Artland - no dogs allowed there. Haven't been for ages. We definitely had the best of the day - it was sunny but windy. In the car 19° was indicated, but that was surely untrue. They have a llama, huge pigs, and donkeys - all of them choosing to be as far away from people as possible.

Here's the 'Love Bomb', a 12 metre tall orchid, laser printed and adhered to a stainless steel orchid sculpture. It is 'a modified flower at once monstrous and seductively beautiful demonstrating the ways in which human desires are now shaping the natural world.'

'Course it is...

Archie is zonked out on my lap. I'll be able to snip away at his eyebrows with gay abandon - he couldn't care less.
