Repent...

I saw this from a bus going up Leith Walk this morning; luckily the bus stopped and I whipped the camera out. I was concentrating on getting the shot before the bus moved again, so didn't notice a quietly dishevelled gentleman sitting down beside me. I took the photo, the bus moved, and I took a breath in which was so full of the fumes of stale urine that I almost retched. I got off at the next stop and hopped onto a different bus.

Maybe the wages of sin is (are?) an overwhelming smell of rancid piss.

I don't know if the lower part of his signage is readable; it says

"SEX before MARRIAGE =
HELL after DEATH.
The illusion is brief.
The remorse is long.
REPENT"
