Rosebud in June

I had a day's leave so of course was running around all day like a BAF. After picking up the hire car I went up to the allotment to do some watering - it was all looking quite promising, apart from the courgettes which have mostly shrivelled up. The wild roses are on a plant the appeared unbidden a few years ago, twining through the forsythia bush.

Then I drove north, coinciding in Callander with Mr H coming south with the archaeologists on their way back from Ardnamurchan. He joined me and we headed on up to Firbush.

A pleasant evening of eating, drinking and blethering ensued.
