Efterklang Leaves

Elsewhere I've already used every superlative to describe Leaves The Colour of Falling. The eleven song opera commissioned for the Copenhagen Opera Festival. Composed by Karsten Fundal and Efterklang and directed by Christian Lollike.

I'm going to say no more than that this was one of the most special things I've have ever witnessed.

This picture was taken after almost two hours of what was a mentally draining and exhilarating performance. Having picked up our phones and cameras... Pleasingly none were allowed into the bunker Andy and I popped back to say thank you to Casper Clausen.

Some people say you should never meet your heroes, Casper, Rasmus and Mads from Efterklang aren't heroes they are three guys that's totally inspire me. Never resting on their laurels they are always happy to push.

Having chatted to Rasmus now
and again and Mads at the Liima gig in London recently this was the first time i had engaged with Casper. It felt like he would have happily chatted all night. hero no, inspiration yes !
