As camping goes, it's not a bad little set-up.
The children love just hanging around the tent. We're trying to send them off to the playground to meet people but they're just not having it.
We've been waiting all day for bikes to come back to the rental office so we can hire some but no luck. The town is just a little bit too far to walk to and a nightmare to drive and park so we're grounded here until we can hire some bikes. Really hoping we can get some in the morning otherwise it's another day at Guantanamo Bay.
The morning was cloudy but the sun came out after lunch so we went to the beach for a couple of hours. I think the children would just sit by the tent all day if we let them. Poppy is constantly attached to her kindle and Alfie 's either playing on my phone or reading Top Gear Magazine. D and I are getting through a lot of books!
Not sure how long this blip will take to load, it was hours last night and as the only wifi available is at the shack, we have to sit here drinking til it's done. Poor us!!
