A Perfect Day

We woke to a whopper of a frost this morning.  It was white....and cold.....and foggy.   However, when the fog eventually lifted and the sun came out, it turned into a really nice day.

More calves born overnight/during the day.  Farmerboy ended up calving a cow with a stuck breach calf, which unfortunately was born dead.  The cow survived which is the main thing, although had to have an anti-inflammatory injection to help with the swelling and pain.   All in a day's work as a farmer.

We're into another frosty night, with the temperature currently at -1.7 C.  Hopefully it will be another sunny day tomorrow.
