Full tide at sunset
I walked down the road, Rt. 92, along the river behind the Historical Society to catch the sunset. It was nearly high tide with the gentle lapping of the river as it rose high on the banks and the call of the loons the only sounds. The sky was soft and pink, and after getting some shots I trudged back up Trafton's Hill to our house. I walked just as my grandfather did so many, many times, so long ago, to our house, the second one in the lane on the left at the base of the big hill.
For the Record,
This day came in warm sunny and glorious.
All hands healthy
Mr. Hummer in the extra photo, finally. He's so elusive.
Last night we had visit from a nasty fisher cat family of 5 on the deck in the middle of the night knocking down hummingbird feeders and the rain gauge. They hissed at T when she looked down from the bedroom window with the iPhone flashlight. At first we thought they were raccoons in the pitch dark night, but with dark bushy tails and the way they moved in the dim light it became obvious that they were fisher cats, ugh!
