Wet Nose

And they say that dogs have wet noses ! A group of young heifers came rushing to the gate as we passed by, perhaps hoping for something interesting to eat, or just curious about the dog.
Two friends came round for a cup of tea to cheer J up a bit this afternoon. I made a lemon cake which was light and lemony as usual - a fail-safe recipe! It was good to see them and hear about their holidays - we hope to have one when that cracked rib gets healed, but it's too soon to book it yet!
