Just an old fashioned

Cone! Or a box of them. I had put these in the cupboard for the grandchildren without really noticing the box, but it caught my eye today as I was tidying up!
What a great design!
I can remember (just!) when we had our first fridge at home, and I suppose it had a little ice compartment at the top where you could keep ice cream for a while.
Apart from that, an ice cream would have been bought from a van or in a shop.

I had a very relaxing time at our new village craft club this afternoon, and in the evening we had an open WI meeting with a very good talk on the return of the cranes to the Somerset Levels. Fascinating!
