On the trail

We walked into a field we haven't been in for some time, and Russet was excited to find new scents and trails to follow. It was a beautiful morning, not too hot, but sunny with a slight breeze.
Later on, I was in the garden doing some cutting back, trying not to notice how much more needs doing! 
More menu planning followed for our next guests, due on Sunday!
