looking for breakfast

I love seeing these beautiful raptors perched along the edge of the woods looking into the field for something to swoop down upon for food. But I've never seen them actually come up with anything!
And when I come home from my morning walk and reach into the pantry or fridge for breakfast, I am grateful that I do not have to "catch" my food.
