Wild Oats

First of many back blips - still trying to catch up from the weekend.....

On our walk today we walked alongside a field of wheat and in the hot sun it was making a popping sound - like rice krispies in milk! A really odd feeling!

A little further along in a field of oilseed rape I saw loads of wild oats and it seemed to stand out quite nicely against the sky and trees..so here I was at full stretch at the 300mm end of the zoom with a small aperture to blur the background.
