Results

Exam results day.  No 1 was awake very early to check text messages.  Despite the recent SQA debacle that was the Higher Maths paper (where students were presented with questions outwith the syllabus.  Thus raising questions at the Scottish Parliament), No 1 achieved the required results to join Edinburgh University to study Civil Engineering with Architecture.  Big sigh of relief from me.

No 2 has been a bit tense over the last few days and was visibly relieved with her results.  Her results were great, with room for improvement in maths. As expected.

Spent the day at the pool although it's a lot noiser and busier this week.  Here's a blip of the regulr noon Water Zumba class.  We now know all the moves and join in on our balcony.

Celebratory dinner in town at a restaurant which looked good on the menu,  waited too long to be served (75 minutes) and was served cold....but the staff were  very busy and far to nice to complain to.

Finally managed to get the air con working, and a pleasant night's sleep for me.
