Best laid plans
I was saving my blip photo for tonight's trip to fiesta. Unfortunately me and the boy have swapped dinner in town and fireworks on the beach for a quiet night in which provides considerably fewer photo opps.
Fortunately this morning I had snapped a couple of moments of the games fest; Anna and I played the Oriental Bazaar's version of Connect Four which occasionally lets you turn the frame on its head. In one game this interestingly made us both instant winners, though I'm not sure we ever used it in a properly tactical way. Behind us Jackson is teaching Cameron how to play Spit.
Later there were proper siestas in the hope of lots of fiestas, followed by a fun pool session. We may have time for one more in the morning but if this does turn out to have been the last one with these friends it was at least a good one.
So the boy managed cards, a sociable lunch and a pool session, as well as other various social interactions so not a bad day at all. And evenings are his hardest time when all he really wants to do is sleep. Especially as we dropped his medication by another half last night and he had a mixed night adjusting to that. So more, let's focus on all the good things and the right directionness of it all. And not worry about the things we're not doing or the ways it isn't perfect.
