Unplanned fun

Woke up in the night to the most fantastic storm - huge claps of thunder & lightening lighting up the entire flat - amazing! And, finally, after many weeks of build up, the rain came down! Whoop! Lovely to have the temperature drop a bit....

So a quiet 'in' day as it was wet out...then at half 9 tonight, as Asha was in the bath, we had an invite out to a friend's to watch some fiesta fireworks from their terrace. So we all went to the beach for a wander, then back to theirs for wine & fireworks at midnight. I reckon Asha will sleep well tonight.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Rain. Need I say more?!
2) Asha and Charlie's friendship - so lovely to hear them nattering - Asha informed Charlie that they are going to be friends 'for a really REALLY long time.'
3) A super relaxed day.
