Pre-spring
We had a beautiful day today, reaching a high of 17.9 degrees. It certainly felt like Spring, and was fantastic to get the washing on the line completely dry.
A busy, busy day. Up at 6am to milk and feed calves, home for breakfast, and then a morning of baking. Sultana cake, tan square, chocolate muffins and cheese scones. Should keep us going for the week!
After lunch I mowed the lawns - by the time I finished that, it was time to go and milk and feed calves again. It's great to now be waiting for tea to cook and being able to sit down. I feel I've been on the go all day!
It's nice to see a few spring flowers starting to bloom. Daphne is one of my favourite. It's fragrant is so strong and beautiful!
