What a day....

So, today was one of those days that did not go to the plan... She was supposed to have a piano lesson at 10.30. At 9 it was moved to 930! but she had an amazing time, she was so excited to show her teacher the video of her new piano and how much work she'd done on her pieces. And her teacher said she's going to be entered for her very first exam.

From then on things went down hill..... We set off to go on our wee holiday to london. Well, Surrey. It should have been 4.5 hours plus an hour at the Northampton Balloon Festival. It took us 8.5 hours, poured it down. Took us 3 hours to even get out of Yorkshire. We weren't at Northampton at the time it was necessary, and it was pouring it down so heavily that the balloons wouldnt' even have been possible. At nearly 9pm we arrived at our destination. My cousin was waiting with wine and a delicious dinner. And her children were waiting to pull faces at Katie (who had slept for all of 15minutes) and have a generally good time!
