Day 2

Another wonderful day! 

We headed into the city after a gorgeous cooked breakfast. We went to Hyde Park and swam in the Serpentine Lido! It was incredible. I had never even really noticed it. Such a special thing to do. She swam a bit between Grandad and I, swam on my back for a while. She got a bit cold, so snuggled in the blanket and watched the swans swim with Granny! We played in the paddling pool, enjoyed coffee on the lawn, she made friends in the park. We then headed to the Diana Fountain and Uncle Simon appeared. She had a wonderful time. In more water! We walked through the park, finding the Peter Pan statue. We picked the Queen's blackberries in Kensington Gardens. We went through the Italian Gardens and then headed to the Diana park. She loves it there. She loved being able to show Grandad her favourite park and fountain. 

We headed back to my cousin's for a really gorgeous roast dinner and incredible dessert. A very lovely meal to end a fabulous day.
