There's Always One
Bowing under the rain the overhanging branches of this giant oak sheltered the sheep down our lane. They were all looking in my direction till I pressed the shutter.
Coming back from an interview - no I kid you not - an interview at a kennels where we could possibly if we pass with A*s board Tilly and Poppy when we go away! We have: bring your own bedding, bring your own food, we charge extra for administering pills, we charge extra for letting Tilly out on her own and we have incredibly rigorous medical checking.......etc. But there is always one! My fault - I hold my hand up - the dogs hadn't been walked before the grilling as it was tipping down - you can guess.
Yes we've passed but probably, as I used to be a teacher, 'Could do better!' is entered against our name in the register. Then again we shall see how they graduate in September.
