Enjoying the grass

This afternoon S and I went to Ambury Regional Park. From there we were able to walk along the first part of the Watercare Coastal Walkway, which runs for seven kilometres along the foreshore of the Manukau Harbour. I had hoped to see shorebirds, waders and the like. Unfortunately the tide goes out so far, few birds were close enough to see or take a photo..

So instead, I looked for and found a number of land birds. Choosing which one to blip was not easy; two of the possible other blips are in as extras.

Late Addition
I realise that I forgot to identify this as a greenfinch. And the flying bird is a skylark. Both are introduced, and now prolific.
