Year after year!

My heart sings when we arrive here. Year after year we return, despite sometimes thinking – there are other places in France! When we arrive, it feels like we have never been away.

The guy who owns the house greets us warmly. When we first came he was a young man who couldn’t get up in the morning and it was his parents who came to see us off when we left. Now he is married with a family and quite the businessman. He makes little changes and tells us about them. Now he is planning a swimming pool and we, who had decided we wouldn’t return next year, are now looking at dates!
