MINE!!!

I just happened to be walking by the door when this little contretemps occurred. It would appear that the Cardinal - a juvenile male just now getting his adult plumage from the look of him - objected very strongly to the Blue Jay's having any of his peanuts. Blue Jays are noted for being bullies, so I was rather surprised when it was the Blue Jay who backed down. S/he flew away and waited on a limb in the nearby Maple tree until the coast was clear before coming back. Made me laugh, it did!
