First Love

Actually my third love. My dad and Elvis came first and second.

Found this while digging for old photos.  My first car - Santa brought me a feeler gauge and a socket set for Christmas.

Bought at 30,000 miles, sold at 110,000.  I had a fondness for AA rescue as it often broke down.  Many, many happy memories too.  

A proper car that you didn't need to plug into a laptop to find out what was wrong (and yes I even put an old blanket over the engine for cold winter starts!). 

Nicknamed the 'Shove-ette' rather than the 'Chevette' !! (p.s it was Jamaican Yellow - not Canary Yellow in case you are wondering!)
