Chasing rainbows

Managed a dry walk, but an icy wind from the north kept blowing the odd mizzle down and this combined with the sun to produce a succession of rainbows. Looking for red deer but they are preparing themselves for the rut at the end of the month.
The extra demonstrates the use of local knowledge when sending for a crane! He got stuck at the bends above too! I didn't stay to see if he got up eventually.
