Scree Slope

This was a wonderful walk- along a "balcony" around a steep sided valley affording tremendous views of where we had come from and indeed of much of the Subai Alps. Just before the descent to the hut, the landscape changed. Limestone, but still no edelweiss. The shows the scree slope that we had to traverse. The limestone accounted for the fact that the hut had no water for washing or drinking.
