Reconnaissance
Went out on a reconnaissance trip today to find locations for future photography. The kids couldn't resist using the opportunity for some skate-time, and this long road is a gift.
This picture could almost have been something special had it not been for the vintage car show that was being set up in the park, thus throwing up metal fences along all the good vantage points, but no matter, today served it's purpose.
Was a good day all around, even if Autumn really did feel like it was kicking up a good head of steam while we were out. Not to mention getting dark at 8pm. That really isn't cricket. I've only just started getting to grips with natural light, and now it's cruelly snatched away from me. Curses upon you wobbly-axis Earth and your seasonal tilting. Humbug.
