Cusco

Cusco is overrun by tourists and there aren't many traditional Peruvian sights or experiences in the city! We didn't love it, but spent a week here adjusting to the high altitude of 3200m. We experienced headaches and dizziness for the first couple of days but drank many a cups of coca tea to counteract the symptoms. We did a boring walking tour, ate at the local markets with all the locals, hung out in the hostel, ate alpaca (very yummy) and had one big night out with our friend Georgia!
