An amazing day

We woke to a foggy day so decided to go out in search of the sun and we found it. We went to Ben Eighe first and went for a walk there and then on to carpark further along the Loch part of the tollie Route Poolewe. Wonderful, the water was so calm with fantastic reflections. Many dragonflies and fungi. Another walk along the footpath where we saw Gold crests, wagtails and Great tits to name a few.
Lunch of Local Haddock and chips at the Old Inn in Gairloch which we ate outside in the sunshine.
A walk past Flowerdale House was followed by an Icecream.
A wonderful walk on the beach watching people swimming and dogs chasing sticks. Collecting shells and watching the gannets dive. A lovely drive home to find the fog had lifted leaving a flat calm sea so different from last night.
Feeling a bit stiff now so will be off to bed soon with memories of a Summers day.
