Drawbridge

I waited all day yesterday for what I am sure is the only drawbridge on a major interstate to raise but it never happened. This morning as we were preparing to depart, the traffic noise outside our room seemed to drop dramatically and I knew the reason. I rushed down the stairs and to the river to capture this barge putting under the recently raise section of the freeway while all that norht-south traffic simply sits waiting for the road to return to normal so it can be on its way. Sure glad we got a room on the river.
