Contrasts Again

I was struck once again today as I rode on Ocean Avenue of the contrasts between the United States way of doing things and the Mexican approach. I remembered that I had featured the worker who trims our complex palm trees previously as his approach to the work was so interesting. Not as interesting, but certainly more what I am used to seeing, was this scene of palm tree trimming North American style. Cones, lighted warning signs and two cherry pickers containing workers with hard hards and neon vests. There is something to be said for U.S. efficiency (and use of machinery), but it made me miss the simpleness that I have become accustomed to at home.
