Midsummer's Eve

Not feeling well today, after a fretful and anxious night; my old friend IBS (which you Google at your peril but is best described as worryguts). Left work at a reasonable time and went for a short walk with TSM on Horsell Common, photographing things in close up including this cone of the lodgepole pine which you can find scattered in their thousands on the forest floor.
