Let there be light

A light table that is.

This was one of the things i got from the toy library. Just new in too. As you may or may not know i do a lot of sensory stuff wit my guys in the holidays and here is the link to my blog about it. 

Anyway for the longest time i've wanted a light table as a different sensory activity and when i said to the play  coordinator do you know where i could get one they said we have one!

So i have a few things planned to do with it over the holidays but late this afternoon they were bored so i got it out for them to play with along with coloured transparent plastic chips. They enjoyed it and were quiet for some time.

Harper isn't very good today , Mars cough is subsiding, my voice is coming back but this cough is ridiculous. Harper was unusually tired and miserable today, his cough has got a lot worse.

 I even called my doctors talking to the nurse who said the kids and even adults they have coming through at the moment the cough is sticking around for a good 10 days, i said i was worried about croup again she said if hes only just come off antibiotics yesterday he should be ok but keep an eye on him anyway. 

Had a day at home enjoying the sunshine nursing the toddler and watching movies with them both. When Kanye got home we took a drive to spencer park, the boys played with the chickens then we all got an ice cream.

Kanye had a great day at school, they did their  usual van trip where they go out somewhere fun, they went to a big playground and Kanye loved it. 

In the afternoon- where their class is based is a satellite of the main part of the special needs school he attends but is sitting on a mainstream school grounds, and so they joined in with the school festivities which included a a visit from a police car. Kanye loves anything emergency vehicle related and his teacher said he sat in the back of  the police car for half an hour with a police hat, quite happy. They had to remove him so the police could leave and he was not happy.

Funny wee guy, so glad hes been the only one to skip all these bugs. Busy weekend ahead so trying to get all my voice back and get my boys better!
