Crossing the Atlantic

That's what we did today, but we didn't have to leave Argyll and Bute to do it! This is the Clachan Bridge on the Isle of Seil, also known as the Bridge over the Atlantic, as the water that flows beneath it is part of the Atlantic Ocean:-).

We also visited some other seals today - at the Scottish Sealife Sanctuary - where we watched three resident seals being fed and trained and enjoyed close-up views of a pair of energetic otters.

Our final destination was Easdale and it's fascinating Heritage Museum, telling of its history as a slate-mining community.

This was our final full day on holiday in this beautiful county, as we leave for home tomorrow and the realities of the Scottish Referendum vote. We've been able to escape it for a while with no TV or radio! What will be will be!
