Diary of an Edinburgher

Small visitor!

A visit to a car yard this morning for a test drive of the (possibly) preferred new car... Once JR decides on something - it's all action! She's still poring over reviews of our chosen few possibilities. Do we want windscreen wipers that come on automatically when it rains? Or massaging seats? Definitely would like a reversing bleeper.

Archie had a morning in the house on his own, but he doesn't mind, I know he just snoozes, though his chewy toy with the little holes filled with frozen peanut butter keeps him busy for ages.

JR made some raspberry muffins. It was probably a good idea that she  gave the spares to the visitors to take away. Though my face did not reflect this - I could have eaten them... No, it was a very good idea.

J arrived, bearing Yumyums (a very appropriate name). She and Bailey took Archie away for a romp in the hills, and so he wasn't here when little R and his mum popped in to visit. How he's grown since last time he visited. Archie came home from his romp in time to meet R. One of them was delighted (and it wasn't Archie).

Watched Davis Cup tennis. Then the Rugby World Cup this evening. I love my big TV screen!
