Papa's Diner

In a bid to beat the post holiday blues, we decided to visit Papa's Diner for a meal tonight (Laura & Steve are away this weekend).

We've been a few times now, so much so that the manager recognises us and always comes over for a chat.

We told him tonight about our holiday, and how on a couple of occasions we'd compared the food in the USA to the food we got at Papa's; we said his food won hands down!

The food they serve is exceptionally good, and reasonably priced too but we usually always end up getting the same thing - chicken tenders and sweet potato fries. We decided to sample a side order of the Mac and cheese tonight too, but he gave us that free of charge and also gave us a portion of nachos on the house as well!

I complained that he's making my life very difficult now, as every time I try something else off the menu it gets harder to choose the next time as everything is so good!

After all that food you'd think we would be full, but Mr A wanted bubblegum ice cream.
This arrived with bubblegum millions and bubblegum sauce.
Never mind jetlag, with all those E numbers he'll be bouncing off the walls tonight!
