AT THE HUTEWALD PROJECT

After some deliberation we drove in the afternoon to Nienover, in the middle of the Solling woods. There one can see a farmhouse of the Middle Ages, there is a Schloss (invisible from where we went) and a huge program called Hutewald, a conservative wildlife area with different kinds of cattle, Exmoor ponies, Heck cattle, Auerochse and the like.
It was a rather dark day after noon, and we were nearly the only visitors.
It started to rain too, and we sought shelter under a roof of a hut for the cattle. From there we saw the horses that stood and stayed in the middle of their huge field.
The sun came out a bit later but only for a short time.
We drove back before dark, knowing that in nicer time we will come back again for a longer stay and walk.

My haiku:

Through the dark branches
The silhouettes of creatures
Standing silently

And the proverb:

Nature, time and patience are the three great physicians.
