Playing life by ear.

Mother spider has completed her  work. The pod containing bee corpses has begun to unravel and thousands of little guys are popping out.

Lorenzo is in hospital waiting for an operation on the  index finger of his right hand.
He fractured it a week before starting middle school, at his first football training session and it hasn't been healing properly, hence the operation on monday.
Alessandro made him a card with a drawing of the two of them holding hands and telling L how much he loves him.
He is in the orthopedic ward with adults so we take turns to keep him company. He should have been in the pediatric ward but it was decided against on the grounds of there being children with various infections there.
I do my stint tomorrow and I've been ordered to bring the monopoly set and playing cards. It'll be an opportunity to spend some time with him.
He finds the hospital thing very interesting and exiting so far. So far so good.

Ale (7, for those who don't know) changed school this year because his previous teacher is a up the pole. He has settled in very well, made friends and is already engaged to be married!

Little Ricky (3) was sent to the council nursery school but he cried the whole time so his parents have taken him back to the private one, run by nuns, where he seems to very happy.

Princess Valeria and Max (4) the menace are back at school too, both skinny in spite of eating more than we do.
