Badcall Bay.

Missed a day yesterday. I'd been moving some stone on the croft, bits that stick up when I'm mowing and could damage the mower. It was getting a bit dark when I got in, and I had no inspiration for taking a photo.

Today started warm, and sunny. The cloud has gradually built up, and there has been a spot or two of rain.

Went down the village to get something from the shop, and get some diesel for the car. And then off to Badcall, a mile south of the village.

We parked up on the side of the road, and then walked off over the hill. Only 2 or 3 miles, but had some fantastic views, including seeing the village from an unusual angle. Tanni chased after a ball the whole time.

She's hiding in this shot! Great views across to the hills of Assynt. Stack of Glencoul, Glass Bhein, Quinag, Suilven, Coulmor, Stac Pollaidh, Ben More Coigach, and we could even see further down the coast to the Cuillins on Skye. This shot doesn't do them justice.

I liked the reflections of the rushes in the extra shot. Taken from near the same spot, and a view out to Stoer.
