Top of the world...

looking over the sea to Fife.
Dry but dull. Spent the morning emptying trailers of oats into drying bins. This is a slow process, as our grain drying system was built in 1961 when a 'big' combine had a 10ft header and a trailer held 4 tons.  It is on its last legs, and can't keep up with today's combines where headers are 30 ft or more.
Left wee brother cutting oats and went away down the road to bale straw. Again , still a wee bit raw,but the rain was forecast to arrive tonight, which it did right on time. There are now 3 fields of bales waiting to lift, which is tempting fate, especially as the schools are on holiday tomorrow !
