The Gang At The Lagoon

The weekend went by all too fast as usual, but all in all it was a restful one and I finished it off with a visit to the lagoon to offload several bags of bread and some leftover fish and chips (neither of which re-heat well). Everyone was glad to see me and even though it was raining, we had a lovely visit.  There were the usual Canada geese,  gulls and ducks and even a heron who kept his distance.  The little odd duck I blipped last week was also there, the only one of his kind among the Mallards.  It was raining fairly hard for most of our visit so I got completely soaked which didn't matter once I got home to dry clothes, a cup of hot tea and a brand new book to read.  It doesn't get much better than that.
