Welcome home!

Our good friends and neighbours G and M, plus G's sister, arrive home this evening from Bulgaria. They were in the second party from our U3A to go to the same hotel.

I have put the milk and bread (Mum's bake plus gluten free loaf) and the defrosted casserole on their kitchen table along with a few flowers to welcome them. I've also put on the central heating because it is going to feel very cold to them when they get here. It has poured all day and looks like it's set in for the night.

I do hope they had a good holiday and a good journey home -can't wait to compare notes with them. According to Newcastle Airport their flight is expected on time later this evening.
