New car psychology...

With 40,000 miles and 4 and a half years on the clock, my Qashqai was beginning to need bigger money spent on it.   

So today the new one appeared - a nice deep red colour and a lot of interesting gadgets - like waking me up when the car crosses the white line without me indicating.     Isn't it funny how the first little scratch will look like a major incident?   But the best thing of all is another three years with greatly reduced risk of bills.
