Glassy greys

We made it down to Southampton in good time......just over three and a half hours yesterday, in fine weather too :-).

We didn't sleep too well, probably crash out big time tonight, especially as we treated ourselves to a lovely pub lunch, followed by a walk around Hamble le Rice. We could see this black cloud coming over the harbour....it changed the light on the water, giving it a really glassy look, which I find rather appealing, and it does look good big IMHO :-)

It dark sky resulted in a light shower, which lasted no more than 5 minutes, whilst we were in the car driving down to Weston Shore. By the time we got there, it was a lovely again, bright and breezy!

We walked right along the waters edge for an hour or so, before heading back to the car.

It's hubs school reunion tomorrow night, which is the reason we are down here...... As well as seeing family of course ;-) I think some of them won't have seen each other for the best part of 50 years!!
