This Is How I Feel...

...about Fort Collins, Colorado.

And in case that wasn't completely clear to you, here's another view -- I'm blissed out!

Blip possibilities abound, the restaurant/lounge in our heritage downtown hotel has superb food (their Medjool dates stuffed with blue cheese and wrapped in prosciutto are my favortes so far), people are friendly, downtown Fort Collins has a mellow buzz -- if only the temperature tomorrow wasn't forecast to be 97 F /36 C and even highter (101F / 38C) on Saturday, it would be perfect. (These extreme temperatures are not what locals expect in June, we've been told.)

What's better than kids playing in a sprinkler-- in the heart of downtown -- on a warm evening? Or swinging? (Cool art in Old Town!) Or folks making their own art?

Some of the buildings in Old Town glow like gold in the evening sun, including the 1888 Miller Block. I couldn't resist photographing the plaque on the building -- don't miss the last sentence in the first paragraph! The mind boggles...

"Pianos About Town" is responsible for this, and this, and this one, too. You can read more about them here.

(Another day gone, and I am further behind on comments. I hope to do my blip earlier on Friday and see what you've been up to!)
