Une journée à Bordeaux!!

Headed into the centre of Bordeaux on the tram, where we sheltered from torrential rain showers in Café Napoléon 3, a wonderful, historic café (extra photo 1) that served the most amazing Salade de Chèvre Chaud!

Once the sun had returned, we wandered through the picturesque streets of the city, past the beautiful Église Notre-Dame (main photo), to the Musée d'Aquitaine for an exhibition of the amazing photos of Félix Arnaudin, showing rural life in the Landes area in the late 1800s (extra photo 2).

To round of the day, another evening aperitif of Kir Pêche at a quayside bar, near La Place de La Bourse (extra photo 3), where we sat and watched the world go by, before heading home on the tram. Une journée très agréable!!
